It’s amazing what the sun and rain can do to keep yards in the neighborhood from becoming unwalkable. I don’t think we have an unusual amount of deposits for our area. It’s just that when you save them all up for months and reveal them all simultaneously… it’s… a bit much.

We haven’t had that problem this year. Mild weather and no snow. But two years ago, with the ice storms that hit, it wasn’t a problem either. It all was sitting on top of the crust, and easy to boot the frozen stuff into the street.
That wasn’t the dog. Sorry. Stupid plumber keeps canceling out on me.
My dad’s favourite part of being a cat owner on a street of dog lovers was picking up dog poo on a shovel and flinging it, lacrosse-style at the neighbours’ houses. Best when you get it fresh for the nicest splatter.
