#54 – Alarmed

This happens to me a few times a year and always freaks me out. The siren sneaks up on my and my brain thinks that I’m about to be hit by the police car that is speeding up behind me… no wait nothing is there it must be right next to me! Nothing! It’s on the other side! Aaaaaaa… oh it’s this song! I now hate this band! Who made this song?!

  1. This happens to me almost every time I go out with my boyfriend! His iPod has totally different songs on it than mine and I fall for it *every time.*

Try giving a tape recorder with 101 Dalmatians to a four year old on a long car trip.

It was Pac-Man Fever, wasn’t it?

actually, it’s not legal. at least over here in germany there was pretty popular a song that was banned from radio and even bumper cars at the spring fair (since it’s right besides the main street).

Kinda reminds me of a time when I was first learning to drive, and I was ferrying my family back from somewhere. One of the radio stations had an ambulance as their PR vehicle and we noticed it, parked in a driveway, as we drove by. For whatever reason it then chirped its sirens a few seconds after we passed it and I freaked out. I kept the car in lane, but it took all of us a minute to figure out what had happened.

What’s worse is when you realize it really wasn’t the song… For the past hour.

Oh man, as a fan of techno n’such this I was able to relate way too much.

I hate it when this happens. My heart tries to leap through my chest, and I think I just haven’t heard the police car approaching and they’re suddenly right there. AAAH!

however, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to drive when you’re steering wheel is not attached to your car.
