Was that in college? In my elementary years, one school used to like to show those one films or videos, where the story only goes so far, then the class was supposed to discuss what was going on, and what we thought happened to the characters. The teacher was usually too lazy to do the last bit, just using the show to keep us quiet until the end of class. While I appreciate open-ended stories, this was just an exercise in intellectual blue balls.

Sadly, this sounds EXACTLY like some of the 'riddles' they used to give us in our 'High Intellectual Potential' "classes". We would come up with about 10 answers, all of which made more sense than the 'actual' answer.
No I am not still bitter about them screwing me out of a proper education, what makes you ask?
