Once time, glasses-less, I saw what looked like a weird bubble on the shower floor. I bent down for a look, wound up face-to-centipede and nearly killed myself trying to get away from it.

I, too, have bad eyesight, and I also have thick, long, dark, and curly hair that doesn’t like to shed naturally, so when I wash my hair in the shower, I get a lot of hair looped around my fingers, which I roll up and throw in the trash to keep from clogging the shower drain. Sometimes I miss, and without my glasses, I can mistake the little balls of rolled up hair for various nasties.

My cousin thought he was having a stroke once in the shower. He stepped in, and his vision got all strange and blurry. Took a few seconds of panic before he realized he forgot to take his glasses off, and they had instantly fogged up.
