Seeng my wife’s phone with a battery below 50% stresses me out. I’m constantly plugging it in for her. I’m her charger fairy.
Personally, I bought a spare battery for my phone. It’s a little extra work to keep them both fully charged, but it’s *really* nice to know i don’t have to worry about my phone dying.
I keep an extra cell phone charged, and let my family know they can reach me through that in an emergency. It was my mom’s pay-as-you-go phone, and I’ve kept the account active after she passed away. It has come in handy.
My phone’s battery sensor (or something) is broken, so it almost always shows 1/4 battery except when I’ve just recharged it. I wait until it shows 0 battery or the screen starts going into power saving mode before I recharge it.
One of the major considerations for a new phone : how long does the charge last?
