I went to a few pancake breakfast fundraisers when I was a kid. I didn’t really understand what was going on. From my perspective we all went down to my grade school on a day I didn’t normally have to go to school. We ate food someone else cooked kind of like when we would go to a restaurant but we were in my school’s gym eating off of paper plates. I did enjoy watching all the adults squeezing into the cafeteria tables that all the kids normally ate lunch at.
