Even while keeping my friends list down to just family, there is so much stuff getting posted, that I start to doubt my loved ones’ sanity. If some aren’t falling into the trap of broadcasting the little dramas that seem to infest their normal lives, it’s the weird paranoid pass-along stories that you used to get during the heyday of the chain-letter. And otherwise, sane, intelligent, educated adults suddenly turning into mutant spellers when posting.
And THAT is why I don’t have a smartphone.
