#184 – Aspire

I love when there is a biography of a famous musician and they show a picture of them at 2 years old holding a toy guitar. I wonder how many other pictures there are of that same kid with toy of other future careers. Seems like I should get pictures of my kids pretending to be a doctor, musician, astronaut, race car driver, scientist etc. Then when they choose one of those careers as an adult we can say “Look! We always knew!”

  1. I wonder if these same parents have pictures of their kids holding guns, knives, etc.? “See, we always knew Johnny would be a serial killer?”

Always exceptions. Think of a 8-year-old Gacy dressed as a clown for Hallowe’en. Actually, that would work too, wouldn’t it?

Or the scene in Back to the Future with the jailbird uncle in the playpen: “Get used to that view”.

My mom has a picture of me at two years old and holding a turd.
I’m now in IT. Not much has changed.

The penny finally dropped; TMNT, right?

And @jammit, I’m reminded of some of the code I’ve been handed. Like the man said, “You CAN’T polish doo-doo!”
