Chapter: Comic
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! New comics resume on Friday.
I love those moving sidewalks. I love to walk on them while pretending I’m still on regular pavement. I look to the side at all the other pedestrians that I’m zooming past. I get to experience having a superpower for 20 seconds at a time.

And of course, I walk backwards when nobody’s looking.
Something I’ve always wanted to do is walk the other way on one of those things. …Oh, and walk up a down escalator.
For some reason, walking down up escalators was so much more scary than the other way around.
Running on them as fast as you can is the real fun (just pretend you need to catch a flight). It feels totally supersonic. Almost like flying low.
I don’t think people would believe that I’m trying to catch a flight after the 3rd or 4th time they saw me running on the moving walkway with both arms straight out and yelling “Whee!!”
I’m glad I’m not the only one who reacts that way to them. But I’m still waiting for the ones from SF books where each adjacent one is 5 mph faster than the one before it, up to 60 mph.
Somebody has to make a “Caves Of Steel” movie, just for the chase on the sidewalks.
I love that despite being an adult, a parent, ‘reponsible’ – you’re still such a big kid.
I intend to be a man child until my death bed. The compelling need to be seen as “mature” at all times is something that, ironically, a person has to outgrow.

Stealing this.
I make those “whooshing” noises.
The ones at SFO are really rubbery and bouncy.. you can also do giant leaping strides while moving at mach 3…
