Chapter: Comic
Jeremy is a single dude in his 40’s that lives alone in a small tidy house. Every Friday on the way home from work he picks up a cake, 2 pints of ice cream and a piñata. After dinner he watches TV for a half hour and then busts open the piñata. He sits back down and eats an entire pint of ice cream in silence, staring into the eyes of the colorful headless animal. He scoops up the candy and throws it all into the trash with the carcass and goes to bed. Why does he always buy that cake? Habit.

And now we know that Forever Alone Guy’s name is Jeremy.
Sadly, this sounds EXACTLY like some of the ‘riddles’ they used to give us in our ‘High Intellectual Potential’ “classes”. We would come up with about 10 answers, all of which made more sense than the ‘actual’ answer.
No I am not still bitter about them screwing me out of a proper education, what makes you ask?
Was that in college? In my elementary years, one school used to like to show those one films or videos, where the story only goes so far, then the class was supposed to discuss what was going on, and what we thought happened to the characters. The teacher was usually too lazy to do the last bit, just using the show to keep us quiet until the end of class. While I appreciate open-ended stories, this was just an exercise in intellectual blue balls.
So what happened with the other pint of ice cream?
Breakfast obviously.
