There’s so much instant gratification on the internet it can feel like torture having to wait for a physical item to travel to my house. Can’t Amazon.com have an orbital warehouse that shoots objects down to your place? That sounds totally feasible with no possible downsides.

Well, mine just got here. Then I had to spend about an hour unwrapping and checking if all of the CD’s were actually there.
Maybe if the internet had those pipes like they have at the bank/pharmacy drive-thru, but going to people’s mailboxes. Somebody at Amazon sees your order, puts your ordered item in a canister, and *fwip* gone! Moments later you’re opening your package.
