#215 – Slump

I recently got sick but don’t know exactly why. All food I recently ate was immediately suspect. I now have to take a break from some specific foods for a few weeks before I can eat them again without feeling ill.

    Not only will you quease-up thinking about what ails you, but any side dish is sickening by association. Once, because of bad burrito filling, I didn’t even touch chocolate-covered coffee beans for months, because they were eaten that same day.

    If you have any recurring problem like that, keep a bound composition book (3 for a buck during back-to-school sales) and log/journal what you eat, and how you feel. Then look back over a couple of weeks and see what correlates; it can take that long for some things to be effective. You just may uncover some sensitivities or outright allergies.
