I once had a microwave up against a wall on a counter with a cabinet hanging overhead. This perfectly bounced the exhaust fan right into the face of anyone standing in front of it. It was really weird to make popcorn right after someone else heated up some tuna fish.

Plus side, that water you just heated up loosened all the goo in the microwave, making it a perfect time to wipe that nasty-gross thing down!
…and the loose goo fell into the water; EEEEeeewww! (Had that happen, and daughters might, just MIGHT, have noticed it was cleaner afterward!) Grumble, grumble…
Scary if it’s either a brand-new, just out of the box ‘wave, or the last time you had burritos was at New Years’.
