Chapter: Comic
I saw Klondike Bar commercials for years before I first tasted one. It was a little bit of a letdown. A square of vanilla ice cream with a very thin hard chocolate shell. I has already been introduced to complicated ice cream sundaes at this point. Multiple fruits and sauces and nuts and whipped cream. The Klondike Bar is much more basic.

They have all kinds of flavors now though. Reece’s is my favorite.
“What would you do for a Klondike Bar?” Nothing. There are much better desserts out there.
Ice cream hurts my teeth. I’d rather have a chocolate bar or some M&M’s, but a Klondike bar? I’ll pass.
Always be sure you know the difference between Dove bars. One of them is a soap.
Hmmm… no prob. Klondike bars are soap and Dove bars are the
ice cream. Easy as pie 🙂
While complex ice creams are tasty, sometimes basic is good. For example, I love a bowl of simple vanilla ice cream, especially homemade. The store-bought stuff can be good too, but is usually better used as a condiment for other desserts.
Whatever you do, don’t try to eat it while the prospectors are still thirsty!
Seriously?? Plain Klondike beats a complex sundae hands down!
I prefer either the mint chocolate ship klondike bar, or the oreo one. Still, there’s something special about the original vanilla. Even though I love complex flavors, you have to keep it in perspective.
Enjoy the little things.
