#239 – Soaked

I liked when I was in a bath so long that the water was cold. Then I got to run the hot water at full blast. The warmth would slowly creep along the bottom of the tub and then reach up to surround me like a full body hug.

Ahh… I remember that phase. They were especially wonderful on cold winter mornings.

On baths so hot they border on soup: I always feel like it’s such a waste, making so much boog broth to only throw it away afterward.

Don’t worry. The Sewer ‘Gators appreciate it. You ever notice the empty saltine boxes around the storm drains near your house?

    A. (kingklash)- Most places, storm drains and municipal sewers don’t interconnect, at least until there’s a huge storm surge. So the cracker boxes might be found near the Hyperion plant in LA…
    B. In Japan, the steam cabinet preceeds the bath, which involves a soap-up, and a pan rinse-off, then followed by the hot soak in either a small cube-shaped tube with a seat shelf, or the big communal tub (GIs in Iwakuni got the small ones, to discourage ‘inappropriate behaviors’). Still, mmmm!
