I’m gonna save so much money I’ll need a whole room to keep it in!

*1 year later*

Oh yeah, I don’t really use cash anymore. I have saved up $1.28.

Why is the pig so happy? Doesn’t it know that when you need the cash someday, it gets the hammer? It’s entire reason for existing does not end well. Just like real pigs.

some real pigs are pets…. just saying

Granted, although one could argue that was not their intended purpose.

well some models have plugs on the bottom you can remove. They dont all end in a violent smashing of hammers.

I considered this, but note that the pig in the comic fits no such description.

My Ma had a ceramic piggy bank that had a cork in his nose. He’s somewhere in storage, I ought to go look for him.

I kept my money in a real pig.
    I miss that pig.

I’d fill that up in no time. I always empty the change out of my pockets and forget to grab any before I go out. What’s that? $3.06 for my snack? Here, I have a twenty.

I have my kids trained. As soon as they accumulate $0.86 in change, they give it to me so I can buy a 44oz soda at Circle K

I still use cash because my second job pays me in cash and I use that to buy items while my main job pays my bills through the bank account. The way I save money is that I don’t spend $1 bills. So far, I’ve saved an average of $45 to $60 every three weeks, compared to about $5 for every three weeks of change saved.

I’m clearly the opposite of you Chris, I just counted the cash I could find in my room, I found 775$ in cash in my dresser. Holidays/birthdays are wonderful when you get what you ask for. And saving money is good skill to have.
