We live in a new house in a new neighborhood with new sounds. Our dog is still adjusting to it all. She’s having a hard time understanding that every time she hears a car door close it doesn’t mean someone is about to walk in the front door.
Also, thank you for your well wishes and patience during my hiatus. Hopefully my schedule will be back to normal now.

I would find those windows endlessly amusing, while the dog was learning how to deal with them.
There is this squirrel who today kept jumping on my window AC and making a bunch of noise. I ignored it once I found out what it was, but it was driving my cat CRAZY.
Search [photochromic window]; the circuit from a bark-suppressor collar should work to trigger it.
Bark-operated windows. Bow. Great idea! ????
