I was looking right at the real ice cream. It was within reach! But somehow I turned my head at the last second and grabbed the on on the shelf below. How can I ever trust myself again?!

Back in college I brought a single bowl, a single plate, a single cup etc from home to eat all my food out of. I still have a vivid memory of the moment I finished cooking dinner, piled it all into my bowl and then knocked it on the floor. The bowl shattered and my food went everywhere. I was really upset that I broke that bowl. We had been through so much together!
When it’s the first cookie out of a fresh bag, you are consoled by the weight of all the other cookies you are still holding. When it’s the last one all you can do is stare at it longingly. Imagining all the good times you never had. You were going to make to Paris one day!
