It can be so exciting when you start a new job.
“I’m gonna be great here!”
“Look what I can do!”
“Wee!”

“Why can’t you be more like Kevin?”
“Kevin? But I’m doing all of my work and half of his work now.”
“Yes, but you always leave at 5 o’clock. Kevin stays longer than I do!”

But, what if you’re the only employee?
@ kingklash: Then you have to stay longer than yourself in order to get promoted. Which isn’t as bad as being your own boss where you have to get yourself fired to get promoted.
“Here Frank, I typed up all these papers for the boss. Please bring them to her while I also do her taxes.”
“Ok.”
*end of day*
“Why can’t you be more like Frank? He brought these papers to me.”
