#13 – Drain

I started eating salad during the famous bleu cheese craze of the 1980’s. When you got a salad at a restaurant you had to pay extra for it. Somehow this made us feel more decadent.

“I’ll have the house salad with bleu cheese dressing.”

“Oh, well that will be an extra 25 cents sir.”

“Yes… (sips water with pinky outstretched) I know.”
