#217 – Decisions

The instant gratification of cold pizza is tempting but not all pizzas are good that way. Hot is usually best but to get it close to the original experience I need to get out a pan and oil and then deal with the cleanup. If I go with cold I can just stand here in front of the refrigerator while I jam it in my face and then get on with my life.

Not to mention that reheating it makes quite a bit more noise, alerting others that you’re being a total pig while you should be sleeping.

Or worse, inviting them to come enjoy some of YOUR pizza that YOU reheated.

Depending on how many pieces you have to consume, you may just decide that pizza is just too much trouble, and go with the covered Tupperware of Mystery.

  3. Cold. Always go with cold. Cold pizza is an extra bonus award for your previous laziness in ordering pizza in the first place. Heating it is like going against everything that pizza represented.

I make my pizza from scratch. Eating that cold is a sin against man. Luckily, I have a toaster oven so I never need to reheat it in a frying pan.

Cold is definitely best. Although that’s usually at noon the next day. 2am is when it arrives hot.

Your problem is you’re reheating it in an oven. Now, I’m not suggesting putting it in the microwave either. After all, NO bread product should EVER go in a microwave.

What you need is a toaster oven. Most the convenience of a microwave with the quality of an oven and because the oven rack is so much smaller than in a full size oven, you can place it in there without a pan or extra oil. And, it only takes about two to five minutes.

Just hit the convenient toast button on the toaster oven and it comes out great 🙂
