#33 – Furry

My current theory is that pet hair is invisible when it is airborne and suddenly becomes visible again when it comes in contact with an object. I will open a brand new sealed container and find hair has sneaked in. The hairs travel faster than the speed of light.

Living with pets makes hair a commonplace thing, I guess. I’ve found hairs on new clothing even before I’ve put it in the closet — just the transport from bag to closet can pick up stray strands.

My Sister-in-law had a cat like that. You could open a package that was heat-sealed in its’ clamshell, shrink-wrapped, and you’d still find grey cat hairs in it when you open it. We decided it was her Mutant Ability, she could shoot hairs at high velocity over any distance.

I’m always cleaning up hair around my apartment, and I don’t even have a pet. I do, however, have long hair and an unfortunate tendency to shed. I’m sheer hell on vacuum cleaners.

Too much tetracycline. Don’t blame the animals! Lay off the STDs!!
