Chapter: Comic
My son gets lots of books from the library and likes to pick some out for me to read to him at bedtime. He can’t read much by himself so I still have the luxury of editing the story on the fly. He loves new words and sometimes I just dont want to deal with him calling everyone a “Scum ball” for the next week.
Plus, this week is Biff’s 7th birthday! To celebrate, all Biff books are crazy on sale for only 7 bucks each! Go check them out in the store!

For a while, I was buying the American version of Shonen Jump, until about 2007. My youngest nephew, who is 16 now, would bug me to read the One Piece chapters to him, “Because you do the voices better than I could think them if I read it to myself.”
Me, once I hear a really great voice version, I tend to think of that whenever I’m reading. For instance, anytime I’m reading Batman comics or novels, Batman always sounds like Kevin Conroy and the Joker always sounds like Mark Hamill. I do kind of mix and match though; whenever I’m reading the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy for the umpteenth time, the voices mostly sound like the BBC television version, but Marvin sounds like Alan Rickman. (That was the one thing the Hollyweird version got completely right. Then, they barely used him.)
