Chapter: Comic
I remember as kid I was disappointed that I didn’t have any major scars. Movies and TV taught me that scars were cool. I don’t think I really thought about the whole pain and blood stage that is associated with “cool” scars.

I have alot of scars. Most of them are from work, however some were from fighting in high school.
Only scar I have is from when I ran over a piece of metal with a lawnmower, which got shot out and hit my knuckle.
When there are new trainees at work, I tell them to stay off the trainer’s bad side, or they may acquire a similar scar.
Side note: I also discovered that using the phrase “lawn mower accident” while calling in to work gets very few questions. Don’t overuse it though, it may get suspicious.
Same goes for tattoo artists.
“I hope it’s okay tha- *hiccup* that the kitty on your lower back turned out cross-eyed.”
“What? I didn’t want a kitty, I wanted an eagle.”
“Ex- *hiccup* exactly.”
Little things like that make Life interesting, and a appendectomy into a bris.
Reminds me of some alternate lyrics I once heard for the song “Achy Breaky Heart”:
But just don’t tell my liver, he never would forgive her
And might blow up and circumcise this man
“I remember as kid I was disappointed that I didn’t have any major scars. Movies and TV taught me that scars were cool. I don’t think I really thought about the whole pain and blood stage that is associated with ‘cool’ scars.”
“Cool” tends to be in the mind of the beholder.
