That is when you make them sit in the corner, sitting on their hands, face to the wall and their mouths shut. That way they won’t make a sound and might actually think about what they did.
Don’t exactly advise what my dad did when we slammed the door or took our anger out on something: He made us perform a very family-public apology to offended item, on our knees, and begging forgiveness from the item until HE was satisfied…and while everyone else watched. (Fortunately this punishment was rarely enforced. XD )
It wasn’t always punishment to take my toys. I had a couple of electronic games that if I couldn’t find anywhere else, it was a sure bet my Dad was playing them.
if i said duct tape would that make me a bad person?
No, but if you said NyQuil…
Always for for me.
I was never sent to my room. I was happy in my room. I got sent to the bathroom instead.
Which just led to the odd sabotaged toothbrush….
