Yeah, my little brother had a tickle-me-elmo that would keep getting activated in the toybox. It was the stuff of nightmares.
I thought it was a child saying that. I actually heard my youngest nephew’s voice; he says, “Grammom, play with me!” constantly.
with or without being a parent… if there are child toys around
The batteries in my toys would always mysteriously disappear. When I asked my parents if we could get more batteries, they would explain that there was a national battery shortage.
We won’t mention Furby. Ever.
When I’m home alone I usually don’t hear the toys over my music blasting out whatever’s left of my hearing.
However I do know the pain of the motion-activated toys going off right as I’m putting the baby down for a nap or bedtime.
Wait… déjà vu again? Squeak? 😉
I hate to be the one that brings this up, but…

I prefer the old version. I think the “motion activated” caracteristic makes it even scarier!
The manufacture of musical, stimulus-triggered children’s toys with no off switch should be considered a war crime. >.>
What if there’s no toy, only the dog?
And the first thing that comes to mind is FNAF. My friends need to stop talking about it so much.
