Merry Christmas! New comics resume Wednesday.
I don’t drink soda that often so when I do it’s amazingly obvious how much more I have to pee than usual. I’ve learned to avoid them on airplanes or long car rides. Just water please.
There are some bottles of soda with the “low profile” caps that I need to use my teeth to open. I’ve even changed my mind and refused to buy them at convenience stores when I’m on a road trip because they are so frustrating to open. I wonder if there is already an infomercial selling some sort of soda wrench to attack those tiny caps with.
My first car was 11 years old when I bought it. But it still had a few years left of cup holding. Then one day I got lunch at McDonalds and the cup no longer fit. It was a relief when I got a newer car and I once again had somewhere to put my enormo-drink. Then on a trip to Taco Bell it happened again! My car had no built in device to hold such a thing. I had to resort to holding the drinks in between my legs. Warming up the drink and cooling down my… legs.
This would happen to me frequently at work. I would have a design project that I’m in the middle of and I finish the cup of tea I’m drinking. I don’t have time to make more tea so I just fill up my mug with water. While I’m choosing fonts I absentmindedly reach for my tea and take a sip. Now I can’t finish the design before making more tea.
It looks like it would fit right in there. I wonder what the other side of the lid tastes like. Hmm… tastes kind of like pain and human blood. Now I’m panicking and I can’t relax my tongue to get it out! Oh dear the light has turned green and the cars behind me have started to honk. I don’t think the job interview is going to go well if I can’t talk.
