Are they going to call me next? Will they say my name right? What if I trip as I walk across the room? Maybe I’ll break my arm and then have to go to a different waiting room! This is a bad idea.

I can so relate. With all of my health issues I could probably have gotten a disability pension years ago, but I can’t stand going to the doctors’.
What if I catch something from whoever else was there?
As a Native American, I can use government clinics, and occasionally, I have been to waiting areas for long, crowded waits, and I swear that I have caught one thing while waiting to be treated for something else.
